So, I spent all night making a taco perler. One of my students drew it in Photoshop and I found it adorable and made it into a perler. I had to fish every one of those light brown beads out of my 22,000 bead tub. Totally worth it though! :D

Vinyl Scratch / DJ Pon-3 heart perler by ~LillyInverse
I’ve been doing a lot of work with perler beads lately, and it’s totally fun! I decided to make a version of the pony-hearts found here. It turned out HUGE - much bigger than expected! I think she came out great, and I had a blast doing it, so I’m planning to make perler heart ponies of the mane six from FiM (Friendship is Magic) plus a couple other characters that I like, such as Vinyl Scratch (aka DJ Pon-3) here.
She measures about 14 x 10 inches and is currently being held on My wall with just 3 thumb tacks, so she’s actually pretty light weight.
